A massive “Thank you” to all who made us Volvo Enthusiasts Club members so welcome at Thorseby Hall and the 2012 National Rally of the Volvo Owners Club.
The day was a superb mixture of beautiful cars and chatting ourselves hoarse, the setting was magnificent too!
Our Leader for the day was Colin Hughes, who with his 760 Lowrider was Winner of the Modified Volvo Class and member John Kemp was Runner-up in the 120 Class. Congratulations to them both.
Robert Hughes (son of Colin) brought his 240, which is in regular use and Tony and I brought our 1966 4-door 120 and our 1968 1800S Convertible, which were displayed at Volvo Enthusiasts Club corner!
It was good to come together in our shared passion for Volvo in all its guises. Thank you again and “Here’s to the next opportunity”.
